A love note from me  to you...

I am SO glad you are here, and I cannot wait to talk with you and start celebrating this huge milestone in your life with your FIANCE! My top priority is always your comfort and confidence in my work, so let me get into that a bit. 

Everyone who knows me knows I am head over heels for my job. It is my baby, and watching my business grow has been a blessing. I am incredibly invested in what I do, which means as my client, I am 100% invested in you. I became your number-one hype girl the second you hit send on that inquiry form. Whether it’s a vineyard wedding in California or a courthouse elopement at Chicago City Hall, your love is essential to me, but capturing the in-between moments is more important. Whether you are walking through a set of revolving doors entering city hall. Your maid of honor helping you gather your train. You tearing up the dancefloor with that crazy uncle and your grandma. You and your lover are looking into each other’s eyes and forgetting everything else around you. 





My goal is always for you just to unplug, be present, and enjoy. I will handle the rest because when you have a good ass time, so do I. I care so much for the clients that book me. I always want you to know I am in your corner. With this being said, communication is HUGE to me. Being open and transparent is something I have always lived by, and in this industry, we need to be able to communicate to achieve your dream wedding. Whether that be with you or with your planner, to ensure I can achieve your dream wedding photos and capture all the in-betweens, we need to work together so that come the day of, I can take complete control, and you two sit back and enjoy your wedding day because it’s just that, YOUR WEDDING DAY! It is a momentous occasion to celebrate you two and your love. No matter what that looks like. I’ve never had an ideal client. Love comes in all skin tones and body types. They don’t have to think the world of me or fly me across the country to photograph their wedding. But I do ask for communication, understanding, and openness to letting go of the reins on their wedding day and enjoy the ride. If you are just shopping around for a good deal, looking for me to pop in for reception photos, or trying to hustle through wedding checklists, we may not be a good fit. And that is okay. I always say your photographer is your shadow on your wedding day, and you want to ensure you enjoy having them around, so finding your fit for a photographer is extremely important. 

However, if you want to be able to let go and enjoy the day you get to say “I do” with your partner in crime and don’t mind me hyping you up all day long and dancing the night away on the dancefloor, will be besties before you even know it. I said it earlier, and I’ll repeat it: when you invest in me, I invest 110% in you, and this is something I say from the minute you hit send on that inquiry form til months after your wedding is over and your gallery has been delivered. You’re putting trust and commitment into me and my craft. Putting your trust in one person to capture moments within a blink of an eye is major. It’s okay to ask questions, be curious, and get to know one another as human beings. 

So get to know me before we meet. I love music more than anything; it can change a mood in one beat. I love Lord of the Rings and anything Game of Thrones, but I am also a hardcore Office fan til the day I die. I am a coffee AND tea girlie because I have always been too decisive, but I look at it as a lover of many things. I try hard not to cry at weddings to stay in the zone, but half the time, I cry on the way home because they just get me every. Damn. time. I love real love. Real love is when you can look at a couple, and as one is talking, the other is just staring and admiring their partner, like they are the most incredible thing on the planet. I am a jokester and snort when I laugh, but I will never apologize because then you know whatever was said was funny. I grew up in a very humorous and fun-loving home. Therefore, you get the empath in me who is so compassionate for feelings, space, and vulnerability but also can crank up the sarcasm when you need a little pick me up. 

I just want you to be happy. I want to vibe with you so I can see you two as a couple, so that wedding day, I know exactly what the day will be like. Before we get into the nitty gritty of booking, pricing, and all that jazz in our call, I want to hear your love story, how many pets you have, and your current favorite TV show, or possibly even the one you hate the most. I want to do all these things so that when you stand in front of the camera, it feels like two friends talking, and you can let loose and have fun with it. Forget about the camera and just be present so that you can look back on the captured moments and remember them.
